We, the Caucus of Today’s Teachers, are educators in Denver Public Schools who are committed to quality, culturally responsive, inclusive schools, curriculum, and pedagogy for all students.  Therefore, we fully support the 2019 Black Lives Matter Week At School which takes place this February 4-8.

Grown from the principles of Black Lives Matter, this national week of action focuses on four demands - ending zero tolerance discipline policies, mandating Black history and ethnic studies, hiring more Black teachers, and funding counselors not police in schools.
